EXPIRED EMAIL ADDRESS IS DANGEROUS!

We always use email address when we want to register online like Facebook, Tweeter, Instagram, Etc. Your Email user information will be stored in your Social media account as your Username and also for Account password recovery.

We usually use google and yahoo email.

For GMAIL
According to a post by a software engineer on the Google Product Forum, a Gmail account does expire and will be deleted after approximately 9 months of inactivity. It’s not made clear what sort of activity counts, whether logging in, POP/IMAP, forwarding or something else.

For YAHOOMAIL
Time Limit. A Yahoo account is automatically declared inactive and deactivated after a minimum of six months have passed since the last time the account owner logged in. For every year the account has existed, two additional months are added to this time period.

Social media sites do not detect if your email address is still active. And Cannot alert the user to change their emails when expires.

Hackers can Look to your account’s email. Check if it is still valid and active. If not, they can easily register it again. They will gain access not only on that email, but also any accounts associated with that email address.
